- Impact resistance: Polycarbonate(PC) small embossed sheet has excellent impact resistance; its impact strength is 250-300 times of ordinary glass, 20-30 times of acrylic sheet, 2 times of tempered glass, almost no risk of fracture. 3kg hammer falling below two meters without cracks. It has the reputation of “bullet-proof glass,”
- Light transmission: Excellent lighting. The UV coating sheet in the sun exposure will not become yellowing, atomization, poor light transmission.
- Weather resistance: It has UV coating on the surface of sheet, and prevents the sheet becoming yellow under the sunshine.
- Flame resistance: Polycarbonate(PC) small embossed sheet itself is not spontaneous combustion, and it has self-extinguishing. In line with the EU ROHS Directive and strict UL safety standard, UL94 flammability reached the requirements of 5VA grade level. The itself ignition point of Polycarbonate(PC) small embossed sheet is 630 degrees Celsius, self-extinguishing when away from the fire, does not produce toxic gases when burned, and will not contribute to the spread of fire.
- Heat resistance, cold resistance: In Celsius -40 ℃ to +120 ° C temperature range will not cause the deformation quality deterioration.
- Light weight: Only half weight of glass in the same thickness. It can be easy to hand, drill, truncate when installing, it is difficult to break and easy processing.
- Sound insulation: The sound insulation effect of Polycarbonate(PC) small embossed sheet is obvious. It has better sound insulation compared with the same thickness of glass and acrylic sheet. Under the same conditions of same thickness, the acoustic volume of PC small embossed sheet is 3-4DB higher than that of glass.
